First Day 24-12-08

After our breakfast,we went to from Aljunied (which is near to our hotel) to Bugis by MRT.Before that,we had to buy the EZ-link card for transportation in the whole trip.It costs 15SD,but there's on 7SD credit,8SD is deposit(i think so,but only 3SD is refundable),besides,the minimum amount in the card is 3SD,and the minimum top up value is 10SD,walau,i still left some money inside this card,does anyone going to singapore?can get this card from me.We got into the shopping centre opposite.Quite expensive,but nice ler,especially their shoes,tahan saje lo,i don't bring money what =.=And then we saw crocodile shirts were selling there,one for 20SD,sim yee said it's quite cheap,so i called my mom,maybe i could get it for my dad.My mom asked me to check whether the crocodile on the label is facing left or right.Oh,it's facing left,so it's not original,Her Yen:"ko wu ah neh eh ar?!"

At 1pm,we walked across the road and got into the Bugis Street (at the right hand side of Burger King in the photo).Crowded ar~~~quite a lot of things to see,but we bought nothing,and decided to go back to hotel.From Bugis,we stopped at Paya Lebar (tak tau siapa cakap it's more nearer to our hotel),but when we asked the people there,it takes about 45 mins walking to Aljunied station.Wah,we paid more to walk more,ho liao ler.So,Wei Ting got a little map printed behind the name card of the hotel,and he lead us.We were lucky b'cos it was a cloudy day,bout 20mins later,yea,we saw the station,but it doesn't look familiar to us.Shit,it's Eunos station,we were walking to the opposite direction!!!*thunder storm* We took bus to our hotel and checked in lo,at this time Hui Yee and Justin came and joined us.Finally we cancelled the plan to China Town before going to orchard road. After taking shower,continued our journey to Orchard road,disappointed rainy day*There were 8 of us,3 pairs of lovers,4 umbrellas,no choice,had to share with Wei Ting ,weird and uneasy 'coz each of them are paired,i prefer group activity what, (as i'm single心里不平衡 kakakakaka), I swear i won't go out with couples no more (reason:pai seh to Hui Yee,she did not wanna ignore me so she had to leave her bf alone sometimes XD),anyway thanks to them as they did take care of me,not only pat tor and walking in the you-and-me-world.Taken somewhere near to the City Hall,i'm not so sure actually,'coz what i did was just follow,i did not notice the direction or the sign hehe...
Everyone of us was so hungry,so Justin brought us to this restaurant called Crystal Jade and we took our Christmas dinner there.Look at the menu,don't ever try to make your world complicated and convert the price to RM.Arr,let me introduce everyone by using this all-in photo.From the left,Wei Ting,Daryl and Chia Yen,me the cute one muahahahaha,Hui Yee (small hat on her head,costs 5SD for charity) and Justin,Her Yen and Sim Yee(female santa).The word "and" shows that they are paired.Justin ordered this,and he complained there was a hair on it,so he got second plate,big prawns you know,syok nia...

During our dinner,Daryl told us that his brother-in-law has booked and paid for a room in Orchard Parade Hotel,but then he had cancelled the trip to Singapore.Which means,we would have a night in Orchard for free!!!We didn't have to rush back to Geylang after the celebration of Chrismas.But i was quite curious how's the kok kok kai celebrate their christmas eve in Geylang ler?

After the dinner,we walked a long the Orchard Road with umbrella (ella~ella~ella~) on top,raining on this Christmas eve=sien-est thing of the trip.But this thing has brighten me up,the ice cream!!i got mango flavor,yum yum~~Look at their menu,this is how the ice cream looks like,12 flavors altogether.

Since we were not going back to Geylang,there was a problem for girls,our contact lens!!!We were walking here and there like siao lang and looking for Watson or Guardian.But on our way we saw this cheap Hang Ten t-shirt selling,one for 5SD,so Hui Yee this idea,8 of us bought the same t-shirt and wear it together.

Ok,then we found Watson,but it's closed,the guys knocked and knocked on their glass door and requested for going in to buy something,luckily they let us in.Chia Yen found the contact lens solution,and i was hunting for mineral water,finally i found Evian (waaa,no other brands d meh),no choice lo,paid 2SD for 500ml Evian.

Look at my hair,got sprayed by people behind when we took this photo.

Actually there was nothing special in Orchard Road on counting down to Christmas eh,quite disppointing.

After we got back to hotel,wei ting actually asked about tomorrow's plan,he wanted to go for a package which were bird park,zoo and night safari,but none of us wanna go for zoo laaaaaaaaaaaaaa.....
